okay i’m watching the end of season 4 (yes I know, late) and it’s freaking me out, because I’ve been curious to meet Matt Smith-I’ve never even heard his voice cause I don’t want to be spoiled-so I didn’t think this moment was like a HUGE deal. I mean obviously I know it is but at the same time, in the grand scheme, he’s still alive right?

but Wilfred is acting like the doctor is dying. The Doctor looks all sorrowful like he’s going to fucking forget his friends and stuff but…he’s the same person right? and Rose was so upset when they thought he was regenerating before even though she’s SEEN him regenerate before and it didn’t change her feelings at all so. I get that’s it’s nostalgic but why are they behaving like it’s tragic? Now IM freaked out, and I was already sad enough.
